Wondering what you can recycle at the depot?
Let’s Talk Trash has been working on bringing more recycling to the rural recycling depots. New items that have recently been added to the rural depots are specific collections for:
- Ziplock and Garbage bags
- Pens, felts, markers, highlighters, mechanical pencils (any plastic writing tool)
- Batteries & natural cork
- Town Centre Depot has additional collection streams for: small household appliances and cookie and cracker packaging.
All printed paper and packaging are also accepted at the depots. Check out the links below for a comprehensive list of what is and is not included in the Multimaterial BC recycling program.
